Tomasson happy at Milan
The Danish international forward was not even on the bench for Milan's Serie A opener against Ancona on Monday, but the former Newcastle man is confident he will get his chance soon.
"I am comfortable," he said. "The vice-president said yesterday that I will get my chance and then it is just a matter of taking it.
"Everyone at the club talks positively about me and they know I took my chances last season.
"Milan will be playing two matches every week when the Champions League starts and I will surely get my share.
"It would surprise me a lot if I don't get any action soon."
The striker is hopeful of securing some playing time when Denmark face Romania in a Euro 2004 qualifier.
"The desire to train and play is there and I am in good spirits," he added to Ritzau. "I had an outstanding season last year and I consider myself closer to the line-up compared to last season."
