Bruce angered with Dunn performance

Dunn sent-off both Sylvain Legwinski and Darren Purse, but it was his decision to award Fulham their controversial second goal which angered Bruce.

Luis Boa Morte appeared to deliberately jump into Blues keeper Maik Taylor before hooking the ball home after the custodian was left sprawling on the floor.

"We have some disappointed and angry players," said Bruce. "We thought it was a foul on Maik Taylor. I would have to see it again, it certainly looked like a foul, but the referee has not given it.

"Once again we are talking about a referee, two sent off and controversy as usual.

"I don't think it was a dirty game, but it is getting worrying. Every time we do an interview, we are talking about a referee.

"Week in and week out we are talking about it. I know they have a job to do, but obvious things like the Boa Morte goal where he deliberately jumped into Maik leave you disappointed."

Purse was given his marching orders following a wrestling match with Boa Morte and Bruce refused to defend his player.

He added: "It was stupid to be honest, I am not going to defend him.

"It may have been down to frustration, Boa Morte caused us problems all afternoon, but we had 11 against ten and his sending off cost us."

Bruce's Fulham counterpart Chris Coleman was equally disappointed with Bennett's performance, particularly for the dismissal of Legwinski for two bookable offences.

"I don't want to comment too much on that," Coleman said of his French midfielder's sending-off. "But I was a little bit disappointed, obviously."

Coleman admitted his side were a little fortunate to grab their second goal.

"Possibly it was a foul," he continued on Sky Sports. "I would have to see it again, but that was up to the ref, and over the course of the season these things even themselves out."
