Angry Kahn slams critics

BAYERN MUNICH goalkeeper Oliver Kahn has hit back at claims that he is out of form after conceding ten goals in the first six games of the Bundesliga season.

The German international star rejected media criticism of his performances this term out of hand in an interview with German magazine Kicker

"I only take one percent of the criticism seriously and just ignore the other 99 percent as it comes from people who haven't got any idea about goalkeeping," blasted Kahn.

Rumours that Kahn had not been training as intensely as earlier in his career were also denied by the 34-year-old.

"I've been training just the same as always, as hard as I always have. Not many younger keepers could keep up with me," he fumed.

"Things can't suddenly be wrong that have always been right in the past, and so there's no way I'm going to change how I do things."
