Strasbourg eye Fahmi
STRASBOURG are eyeing a move for Lille defender Abdelilah Fahmi.
The Moroccan has fallen down the pecking order under Lille coach Claude Puel and is said to have no future at Stade Grimonprez-Jooris.
Strasbourg are looking to bolster their rearguard and see the 30-year-old as an experienced addition to their defence.
Fahmi still has a year left on his current contract with Lille but the club are ready to let him leave the club.
Strasbourg coach Antoine Kombouare has already contacted the player about a move but he faces competition from Le Championnat rivals Metz who are also interested in acquiring his services.
