Double blow for Sochaux
SOCHAUX have been handed two more injury blows only hours before their Uefa Cup clash with Finnish side MyPa 47.
The French outfit had already been reeling from the news that Pierre-Alain Frau is facing a lay-off with a thigh strain, but now have more problems to contend with.
Brazilian striker Santos has also strained a muscle and tests have stated that he faces a month on the sidelines with the problem.
Added to that, midfielder Fabien Boudarene has picked up a groin injury and will need three weeks to recover.
The news is a further blow to Sochaux boss Guy Lacombe who is running out of options for his European clash.
Lacombe will need to patch up his troops to face the Finnish outfit but is still hoping for a positive result from the trip to Finland.
