PSG not interested in Barthez
Halilhodzic stated that that there is no chance the French international can join the capital club as he feels Lionel Letizi, who is currently out with a calf injury, is still good enough to be number one.
"It is impossible for Barthez to come, even for free," the PSG coach said.
"His wages are enormous, we could not even afford 20 percent of his salary.
"For the moment I am satisfied with my keepers and I don't want to sign anyone before the winter transfer window."
Speaking about Letizi's injury, the Serbo-Montenegrin coach revealed that it was not serious and that he was close to starting training again.
"It is not alarming, he will train next week. Lionel is a bit disappointed, but when you come back after a longer absence, it is normal that you pick up these little niggles. He is frightened of picking up a serious injury and doesn't want to risk it."
Meanwhile, number two keeper Jerome Alonzo will once again deputise for Letizi and believes he has a good chance of keeping the number one shirt.
"I have to show I can be number one. I didn't expect to play again so quickly and against Auxerre, I have the chance to play in a big match again."
