Ayala injury fears allayed
The Argentine international had to be carried from the club's training facilities after suffering a severe blow to his leg.
It was feared that he suffered a break, but scans have shown that the injury is not serious and he has only suffered strong bruising.
"He has not suffered any fracture, he has a serious blow on the lower part of his left leg, near to the ankle, which has not been damaged," Valencia doctor Antonio Giner told the club's website.
Ayala was relieved at learning that the injury was not too bad as he endured a difficult start to the season with Valencia and he is still to start a game this campaign.
"I am relaxed to know that it has been just a scare and not a break or a torn muscle," said Ayala.
"I hope to get recovered as soon as possible because I haven't played yet in the actual championship and I am very anxious."
