Ronaldo concerned about Inter

By Lorenzo Zacchetti
Ronaldo has waded into the problems at Internazionale by hinting that the club should axe coach Hector Cuper.

The Brazilian had well-documented problems with Cuper during his time with Inter, but he says his views on the Milan-based team have nothing to do with his relationship with the Argentinian tactician.

The Real Madrid striker still keeps a close eye on Inter's results and feels the club need to make changes before the situation gets too grave.

"I am an Inter fan and I always will be," said Ronaldo. "Like everybody else, I cannot understand why a team with so many quality players cannot get good results and play good football.

"I am not in a position to send president Massimo Moratti any advice. The only thing I can say is that this bad situation does not have an easy way out, but I guess he already knows what should be done for the good of the team."

Ronaldo did not want to be drawn on his troubles with Inter, but launched a veiled attack on Cuper.

"I had problems that I could not solve," said Ronaldo. "'My problem' remained and I went away but now I think it is clear 'the problem' is also damaging the Inter squad."
