Papadopulo: Flo vital for survival
Siena coach Giuseppe Papadopulo has exclusively told skysports.com that he considers Tore Andre Flo the key to his club's survival in Serie A.
The Tuscany club have been praised for their performances in the league this season, despite winning only once in their first six matches.
Papadopulo often uses an adventurous 4-3-3 formation, with Enrico Chiesa and Nicola Ventola joining former Chelsea, Rangers and Sunderland man Flo in attack.
"Chiesa and Ventola are of course two stars. They have experienced playing for the greatest clubs in Serie A and it is an honour to have them in a little club like ours," said Papadopulo.
"Flo was a very good buy, because his features are different from the other two. He is very important for the team, not only for scoring goals, but also because he works hard to help midfielders and defenders, especially with balls in the air.
"His fighting spirit allows me to play the three of my strikers at the same time and I hope this will be the key for our survival," added Papadopulo.
