Branston extends Wycombe stay
The former Leicester City man is out of favour at Rotherham United and with The Chairboys leaking plenty of goals last month, former boss Lawrie Sanchez decided to sign Branston for an initial four-week spell.
The 24-year-old will be available for Tuesday's Division Two match versus Bristol City, as caretaker manager John Gorman looks to turn the fortunes of the struggling Buckinghamshire side around.
The Chairboys currently sit bottom of the Second Division and need to get results in a hurry, if they are to climb up the table.
Meanwhile, teenage defender Matt Warner has gone out on work experience to non-league Basingstoke Town.
