Oshadogan out for season

By Patrick Haond
Further tests have revealed that Monaco defender Joseph Dayo Oshadogan's knee injury is more serious than first thought, with the club ruling him out for the rest of the season.

The stopper thought he had sprained his knee during training on Wednesday but tests have now shown that he has serious ligament damage ruling him out of Didier Deschamps's plans.

Oshadogan will travel to Strasbourg to see a specialist over the weekend and will most likely be operated on next week.

The Principality side are not having a lot of luck when it comes to players with knee injuries after Shabani Nonda tore ligaments at the start of the season, ruling him out for this term and Akis Zikos is also a worry for the Stade Louis II side as he is experiencing problems after undergoing knee surgery.
