Notario in derby race
Sevilla are still waiting anxiously to find out whether first-choice goalkeeper Antonio Notario will be for for this weekend's derby clash with Real Betis.
The custodian is recovering from a shoulder injury he sustained earlier in the week, and will not begin full training again until Friday at the earliest.
Although Notario is making good progress it is unclear whether he will regain full fitness in time.
Midfielder Francisco Gallardo is also facing a race to be ready for the game and the 23-year-old will undergo a fitness test on Thursday to determine whether he has a chance of playing.
Definitely missing for Seville through injury will be Uruguayan midfielder Inti Podesta and Serbo-Montenegrin defender Zoran Njegus.
