Klose still thinking of move
Kaiserslautern striker Miroslav Klose is still keen to join Bayern Munich one day, despite the fact that the German champions' interest appears to have waned following the signing of Deportivo La Coruna star Roy Makaay this summer.
A special clause in his contract allows the German international to leave Kaiserslautern for a cut-down price of é¼5 million next summer, but the forward is keeping his options open for the moment.
Ç£It's a dream for any player to play for a club like Bayern,Ç¥ Klose told Kicker two days before the Red Devils travel to Munich for their Bundesliga encounter.
Ç£It's too early for speculation and there are other big clubs around, but it's a dream for any player to play for a club like Bayern."
Following a run of poor performances for club and country Klose has meanwhile regained his form again, netting twice in Kaiserslautern's recent 4-0 trashing of Hamburg and urges his team-mates to provide stern competition in Munich.
Ç£We are not yet ready to compete with the leading teams, but we want to annoy the reigning champions and must show everyone that we are a team where each player gives his best for his team-mates,Ç¥ he demands.
