Allaway takes Saddlers loan
Kerr is likely to be ruled for between six and 12 weeks after picking a wrist injury earlier this week and that has prompted Saddlers boss Colin Lee to bring youngster Allaway to The Bescot.
The 20-year-old spent last season on loan at Grimsby Town, where he was number two to Danny Coyne at Blundell Park.
The former Reading keeper will now spend the next four weeks backing up Walsall's number one Jimmy Walker.
"It was essential that we brought someone in as cover," Lee told the club's official website.
"Aaron is going to be out of action for quite a few weeks and anything could happen during that time.
"Clubs tend to be reluctant to loan goalkeepers out if they are only going to be sitting on the bench, but both Leeds and Shaun are aware of the situation and we are pleased to have on board a highly-rated, up-and-coming goalkeeper whom Leeds paid out big money to sign despite him never having played first team football."
Kerr will be sidelined along with winger Pedro Matias, who broke a bone in his toe during a reserve match on Wednesday, and he faces around six weeks out with his injury.
