Ronnie wants to continue Barca success

The former Paris Saint Germain star snubbed a move to Manchester United in favour of Barcelona and now he wants to become a Camp Nou legend.

"My feelings are 100 percent with Barcelona and I am very happy about the decision I took of playing for this team and refusing other offers like the one from Manchester United," said Ronaldinho.

"Barcelona has many fans in my country so I want to play for this team for as long as possible and remain part of the club's history."

Talking about the previous Brazilians at Barca, he continued: "Each player has their own characteristics, Rivaldo has his ones, Romario others and Ronaldo others too.

"I also have my own way for playing football, but it's obvious that I want to follow their steps in as far as success, they all had success playing for Barcelona so I wish that as well for me."

Talking about Barcelona's current progress he added: "There have been many changes in the club so it's normal that we had some problems in the beginning.

"Now we are getting positive results and with a few more months working together with the new coach I am sure that we are going to give a lot of satisfaction to our fans.

"At the moment the championship is difficult for many teams not only for Barcelona because there are many good teams and they all have great players.

"Besides this we have chances in all the competitions we are playing in, the Uefa Cup, La Liga and the Copa del Rey."
