Reds scout Samp star
The Reds are currently scouring Europe for potential transfer targets and Italian star Bazzani is the latest to come under their gaze.
Bazzani has something of a nomadic career, playing for eight teams in just 12 seasons.
He began his career with Italian amateurs Boca and scored 30 goals in two years, before moving to Sandona.
The Bologna-born star then moved on to Venezia, Varese, Arezzo, Perugia and then Sampdoria.
After joining Samp in 2002, he bagged 16 goals and helped fire them in to Serie A.
He has since had a great start to the season and has grabbed four goals in just nine games.
Liverpool witnessed one of those goals on Saturday when Bazzani netted in the 2-0 win over Empoli.
The English side, though, are not the only interested party in Bazzani and Milan are being strongly tipped in Italy to land his signature.
Bazzani was also tipped to earn a call-up to the full Italian squad for their matches with Poland and Romania this week, but coach Giovanni Trapattoni resisted the temptation.
