Lucic back for Bayer

By Kent Hedlundh
Bayer Leverkusen defender Teddy Lucic has recovered from a hamstring injury but is not sure when he will be back in the side.

The Swedish stopper has been out with the problem but made the bench for Bayer on Sunday afternoon.

Lucic says that he is fit again after the injury but is not pushing himself too much at the moment.

"It is hard to tell when I can go full out again, the doctor says that I am fit, but we will see," Lucic told Sportbladet.

"There might be a reserve match, because there are two weeks until the next league match.

"I don't think I'll get to play as long as the side plays this good and wins.

"If I was the coach, I would continue to field the same side as now, therefore I expect to sit on the bench."
