Moreira wants Lens deal
Lens forward Daniel Moreira is waiting to discover if the club will fulfil his desire to sign a new contract.
Moreira's present deal expires in June 2005 and the 26-year-old is prepared to extend his stay at Stade Felix-Bollaert.
The France international appeared to be heading for the exit door during this summer, with Lyon keen on offering the attacker an escape route.
But Antoine Sibierski's defection to Manchester City prompted a change of heart from Moreira and he now wants to ink a fresh contract.
While he waits for Lens to make up a firm decision on his future, Moreira admits several clubs are regularly keeping tabs on his situation.
"I wanted to prolong my contract with Lens but I have had no more news," Moreira told France Football.
"So I don't know what I will do. We have reached a standstill.
"My officials have to contact me, it is not up to me. I am still under contract until June 2005.
"This situation suits me well as several other clubs regularly contact me and they tell me not to move."
