Howey: Wolves defeat was turning point

Leicester City defender Steve Howey says that the club's shocking 4-3 defeat at Wolves could prove to be the turning point for The Foxes' season.

Micky Adams' men were leading 3-0 at half time at Molineux and cruising before a mind-blowing collapse led to them losing the match 4-3 to Wolves.

Howey was restored to the starting line-up by Adams after that result and the club have responded by collecting seven points in three games.

"I think what happened at Wolves left everybody shell-shocked," said Howey.

"It was hugely disappointing.

"But you learn from your defeats, no matter how they come, you will progress and we have learnt from that day.

"Looking back now, the defeat by Wolves could prove to be a real turning point for us. We have worked at things and they have paid dividends."
