Iron recall McCombe
Scunthorpe United have recalled Jamie McCombe from his loan spell at Halifax Town.
Iron boss Brian Laws has a mounting injury crisis, leaving him with little option other than to recall the defender from his loan spell with the Conference outfit.
Laws has lost Cliff Byrne to suspension, while Mark Jackson and Kevin Sharp have joined long-term injury victim Nathan Stanton in the treatment room.
With the busy festive period looming, Laws opted to increase his options by recalling McCombe.
