Canaries agree Svensson fee
The Carrow Road club have come to terms on an undisclosed fee with The Addicks for the 29-year-old Swedish forward.
Svensson, who spent part of this season on loan with Derby County, was linked earlier on Tuesday as being a striking target of Norwich boss Nigel Worthington.
The former Crystal Palace and Portsmouth man admitted to being keen on a move away from The Valley and should he and his agent agree personal terms with The Canaries, he could be a Norwich player come the New Year.
It is the second bid that the East Anglian club have had accepted for a goalscorer, having entered the race to sign Darren Huckerby from Manchester City as well.
Worthington was delighted that the club's bid for Svensson was accepted, with Norwich's chances of signing Huckerby likely to be more remote following West Bromwich Albion's bid for the City striker on Tuesday.
"He's big, he's strong and will cause problems for defences," Worthington told the club's official website.
