Almeyda focused on Inter
Internazionale midfielder Matias Almeyda says he will consider his future at the end of the season, but has no intention of playing for any other Italian team.
The Argentine claimed last month that he had grown disillusioned with the game and was contemplating hanging up his boots in January.
The 29-year-old says this is not the case, as he will see out the remainder of his contract with Inter before deciding on his future.
"I want to be clear with this once and for all," said Almeyda. "I never said that I was going to end to my career when this season ends.
"I will think what I will do when the season ends but at the moment I want to continue in Inter.
"If I finally decide to keep on playing in Italy I will do it only for Inter."
Meanwhile, Inter coach Alberto Zaccheroni says he has no plans to sign a centre forward in January.
It has been claimed that the tactician is not happy with his attacking options, despite having the likes of Christian Vieri, Alvaro Recoba and Obafemi Martins at his disposal, but he has denied this notion.
"On attack we are good," he said. "So we don't need other forwards.
"I'm absolutely satisfied with those I have now."
