Oddo pledges future to Lazio
The talented former Verona full back has been continually linked with a move to the Turin giants this term, but Oddo remains adamant he will stay loyal to coach Roberto Mancini.
''I owe myself to the coach, I just want to play,'' stated Oddo.
''Mancini knows me and he knows what I am able to give.
''I am not interested in the Bianconeri rumours, unless Mancini tells me I am not his plans. I am only interested in my Lazio jersey.''
Oddo has set his sights on a place in Italy's Euro 2004 squad and knows that a move now could prove disruptive to his impressive early season form.
''I have to have continuity in my career if I am to take part in the European Championships for Italy.
''We must keep concentration in the Coppa Italia and Italian league, I still think we could make it interesting.''
Lazio coach Mancini faces fresh injury worries, after it emerged that scans have confirmed that Simone Inzaghi has fractured his left hand.
The Italian forward was injured after only five minutes in Sunday's game at Ancona and is now set to be ruled out until early in the New Year.
