U's add another Tiger
Left-sided winger Nathan Peat has followed striker Daniel Webb in taking a month's loan spell with the Division Three rivals, as Taylor looks to boost his injury-hit squad over the holiday period.
With Franco Nacca ruled out for several weeks with ankle ligament trouble, Peat should provide necessary cover on the left side of midfield.
The 21-year-old made his Cambridge debut as a second half substitute in the club's 1-0 Boxing Day home defeat to Southend United.
"He's a left-footed player and he plays predominantly wide left, but he could fill in at left back in an emergency," Taylor told the club's official website.
"He's come in to help us out with numbers at the moment.
"He's got a good left foot, crosses the ball well, gets up and down and he works hard, which is just what we want in the team at the moment."
