Van Houdt eyes Gladbach exit
Borussia Monchengladbach misfit Peter van Houdt is wanted by his former club Sint-Truiden but concedes a January move is unlikely.
Van Houdt is out of favour with the Bundesliga outfit and has made just two appearances for the club this season.
The Belgium international is frustrated by his lack of opportunities and is set to leave Gladbach when his contract expires at the end of the campaign.
Sint-Truiden are keen to re-sign the 27-year-old, who spent two seasons with the Jupiler League side before joining Roda JC Kerkrade.
The forward is eager to resume playing on a regular basis immediately but admits Sint-Truiden may struggle to tee up a deal this month.
"A transfer in January is not topical but they would love to see me next season," said van Houdt.
"Several players have to leave the club.
"It isn't nice to wait to continue playing for six months. I would like to step up right now."
