Everton v Arsenal preview

The last time Arsenal visited Everton in the league they were beaten by a superb Wayne Rooney goal - and the young England international will be keen to extend his burgeoning reputation by repeating the feat.

However, Toffees boss David Moyes has major injury worries going into the game, and Rooney is one of those on the injured list.

The forward has a slight muscle strain, but should be available, unlike Thomas Gravesen, Alan Stubbs and Duncan Ferguson who are all unlikely to feature.

Arsenal also have a key absentee, with Dennis Bergkamp missing out on the game and joining Sylvain Wiltord on the treatment table.

Bergkamp is suffering with a pulled calf and Wiltord is still battling back from an ankle injury, but both are expected to be ready soon.
