Blades to get it Wright
Sheffield United have agreed a permanent deal with on-loan defender Alan Wright to move him from Premiership side Middlesbrough.
Blades boss Neil Warnock was keen to keep the former Blackburn Rovers and Aston Villa left back, with the Division One side needing to agree the move with Boro before it can be sealed.
The Bramall Lane side are close to signing Gillingham striker Paul Shaw and a deal with Wright would be the club's second signing of the transfer window.
"We have agreed things with Alan, offering him a two and a half year deal - we just have to sort it out with Middlesbrough," Warnock told the club's official website.
