Rosicky rules out domestic move

Czech playmaker Thomas Rosicky has ruled out the possibility of remaining in Germany if he is to leave Borussia Dortmund.

Reports emanating from Germany are linking the much sought after midfielder with a move to Die Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich and Schalke 04.

However, Rosicky remains defiant that his future lies away from the Die Bundesliga.

''I can rule out staying in the Bundesliga with another club,'' Rosicky told Sport1.

Dortmund are currently enduring financial difficulties and are keen to cash in on their most prized asset in the January transfer window.

Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and Juventus have all been mooted as potential suiters of the 23-year-old, but the Dortmund favourite has yet to rule out the prospect of remaining in Germany until the end of the season.

''There's no official offer for me yet and I am looking forward to the second part of the season with Dortmund,'' Rosicky continued.

''We are ten points behind, but we want to qualify for the UEFA Champions League and we have good players returning from injury in Frings, Ewerthon, Dede and Bergdolmo.''

Rosicky is said to favour a move to La Liga, with Barcelona his desired destination. The midfielder's resolve to help galvanize Barca will disappoint Premiership big-spenders Chelsea.

''I know Chelsea are interested in me, but before earning money comes the quality of the team and the chances to play. If I leave Borussia after being in the Champions League it would not be to sit on a bench," said Rosicky.

"For me Barca are the best along with (Real) Madrid but they are lacking a lot and not able to win at home at the moment. When they realise that they cannot afford to lose more points, the turn around will be spectacular."
