Klose in Werder link

The bean-pole striker is unsettled at Kaiserslautern and it appears likely that he will leave the Bundesliga club in the summer.

League leaders Werder have already expressed an interest in the ‚é¼5 million rated striker and Voller believes that any potential move would be a success for both parties.

''Miro is currently the best German striker in Die Bundesliga,'' Voller told Weser-Kurier.

''He's set to score 15 goals per season and with his aerial ability and dribbling, he is even more versatile than Ailton.''

Werder are currently experiencing financial difficulties and any move could be hampered by interest from other leading Bundesliga clubs.

Popular Brazilian forward Ailton has agreed a pre-contract with Schalke and if Klose is to be his replacement at the Weserstadion, then Bremen must fight off interest from Borussia Dortmund, Schalke 04 and Bayer Levekusen.
