Olembe to stick by Leeds
Salomon Olembe has handed struggling Leeds a boost by pledging his future to the club until the end of the season.
The loan signing from Marseille, who is currently on international duty at the African Cup of Nations, is ready to reject the overtures of other clubs to stay at Elland Road.
A couple of Premiership clubs are keen on signing Olembe, while Marseille have declared an interest in bringing him back to Stade Velodrome.
Olembe has revealed to skysports.com that he is happy at Leeds and that he will put off all talk about his future until June as he wants to try and help Leeds fight off relegation.
"I have instructed my agent Willie McKay not to pursue any options of leaving Leeds,Ç¥ Olembe told skysports.com
"I know some clubs have enquired about me going on loan elsewhere in the Premier League, but I want to stay at Leeds.
"Marseille's new coach would like me to go back, but I am ready to wait until June to decide my future.
"I have settled in Leeds and my wife has just given birth to a baby boy and we are both happy here.
"I am only thinking of staying at Leeds and helping them avoid relegation as I have loved my time so far at the club."
