Fabio Aurelio to return
Valencia left back Fabio Aurelio, who has not played for nine months due to a serious knee injury, is hoping to make his league return against Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has not played for nine months and at one stage there was doubt as to whether he would ever play again.
In an interview with Marca, Fabio Aurelio said: "All the bad moments have passed. I'm just thinking about the present and the future.
"I think that the coach will play me at left back, although I have played further forward before.
"I will try to respond by playing well in whatever position he chooses for me," he added.
Fabio Aurelio has been training with his team-mates for the last month, after surprising doctors with a positive change in his condition since returning from a winter break in Brazil.
