Magpies sign Saddler
Notts County have completed the signing of midfielder Stefan Oakes on a free transfer from First Division club Walsall.
The 25-year-old has signed an 18-month contract with The Magpies and his move brings to an end a disappointing seven-month spell with The Saddlers for Oakes.
The former Leicester City man was still under contract to the Bescot Stadium club but both clubs have agreed to a sell-on fee for the player - instead of a cash transfer.
Oakes is joined at the Division Two club by Steve Scoffham, who put pen to paper on an 18-month deal this week following his move from non-league side Gedling Town.
