Lamouchi hints at Inter exit
Lamouchi has started just six games this season under Alberto Zaccheroni and now the talented midfielder has revealed that he received several offers to leave the Giuseppe Meazza in the January transfer window.
With Inter awash with talented midfielders, the former Parma favourite may be tempted to take up one of these options in the summer, with Perugia, Tottenham, Lazio and Paris Saint Germain all reported to have enquired about the player's availability.
''The offers came during the last week of Mercato, but I didn't want to make a rushed decision,'' Lamouchi told L'Equipe.
''At the end of the season I will still have two years left on my contract but if the situation is still the same in June, then I will be open to any proposition.''
The veteran midfielder also revealed that his complaints to the club's management often fell on deaf ears and that he retained the fitness and desire of his early playing days.
''On a physical level I am fine,'' pleaded Lamouchi. ''The problem is that I don't play a lot, contrary to previous seasons.
''It is not easy to live with. I try to remain as professional as possible, but Zaccheroni replies that my arguments are not valid.
''I could understand his decision if the team was at the top of the rankings but as this is not the case, I can't understand it.''
Lamouchi has indicated that he would entertain a return to French football and was positive in his reflections, regarding the current state of the French top flight.
''During Mercato, French clubs proposed for me to join them and Le Championnat is getting more and more exciting.''
