Player exodus at Wycombe

York City have signed striker Andy Bell to non-contract terms at Bootham Crescent following his release from Wycombe Wanderers.

Bell is one of a number of players to be released this week by Chairboys boss Tony Adams, with the hit-man initially heading north to have a trial with The Minstermen.

He is expected to be on the bench for Chris Brass's side when they host Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

He joins Lewis Cook, who has been told that his current contract will not be renewed when it expires in the summer.

Non-league side Maidenhead United have expressed interest in taking Cook on loan for the remainder of the season but arrangements are yet to be finalised.

Out of favour defender Steve Dell has gone on loan with Dr Martens Premier Division outfit Eastbourne Borough until the end of the season, while central defender Luke Oliver has left the club by mutual consent to join Woking until the end of the season.
