Klimowicz unaware of Schalke interest

Wolfsburg's Diego Klimowicz is unaware of any interest from Bundesliga rivals Schalke.

The big-spending German outfit are reported to be keen to team up the Argentine hit-man with new-signing Brazilian Ailton next season.

However the player has denied any knowledge of a possible move away from the Wolves where he has been since joining from Lanus in January 2002.

"I don't know anything about all the reports linking me with a move to Schalke," stated Klimowicz.

The tall forward, who has bagged ten goals this season, could be the latest signing by Schalke who are keen to become title contenders under Juup Heynckes (pictured).

Ailton and Werder Bremen colleague Mladen Krstajic have already agreed to move to the ArenaAufSchalke in the summer along with Stuttgart stopper Marcelo Bordon.
