Adams to break his silence

Leicester City manager Micky Adams will break his public silence over the sexual allegations levelled at his players in La Manga at a news conference at 1pm (GMT) on Monday.

Foxes trio Paul Dickov, Keith Gillespie and Frank Sinclair remain behind bars in Sangonera Prison near Murcia, but will find out on Monday morning whether they will be freed on bail.

Leicester are preparing a new legal bid to secure the release of the players who have been told their case could take up to two years to come to court.

The saga has prompted speculation that Adams is ready to resign from his post at the club, although the Premiership outfit have denied the reports.

It is expected that the former Fulham chief will clarify his position at the press conference, while Leicester have confirmed that they will be launching their own internal investigation into the events at the La Manga resort.
