Bazzani pledges Samp future

The Italian forward has hit eleven goals for Sampdoria this term and a series of impressive displays have attracted the attention of some of Serie A's biggest clubs.

However, the player insists that he is more than content with life at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

''If my word counts for anything, and I think it does, then I'll stay at Sampdoria next year too,'' confirmed Bazzani.

''This is my decision and if this coincides with the club's desires, then we will continue to stay together.''

Despite declaring his immediate future to Sampdoria, Bazzani does concede that he is flattered by the attention of his boyhood club Milan.

''I've never hid the fact that the big clubs' attention flatters me, but at Sampdoria there are the ideal conditions to achieve my ambitions,'' continued Bazzani.
