Paquito eyes history
The Spanish outfit stunned their more illustrious opponents in the fourth round, first leg meeting a fortnight ago with a 2-0 success at El Madrigal.
Paquito takes his troops to Stadio Olimpico for Thursday's second leg knowing his team stand on the precipice of the quarter finals.
But the Villarreal coach is not counting his chickens despite his team boasting a potentially decisive advantage from the first tussle.
"We must leave for Rome with the same joy we had here and the knowledge that we are able to eliminate Roma and write a precious page in the history of the club," said Paquito.
"I don't like to begin to make calculations but it is clear that if we score against them, it would do them a lot of damage and that is what we must try to do.
"To sit back and hope that they fail to score against us would be suicide."
Paquito admitted Roma icon Francesco Totti (pictured) is the man most likely to end Villarreal's interest in the Uefa Cup.
He continued: "He is very important for them because, in addition to what his presence on the pitch means, he scores brilliant goals and, at any point in the action, he can turn a game."
