Ole advised on Timm move
The young Dane made the switch to Norwegian football on Monday and Solskjaer thinks the hit-man will definitely be one to watch in future.
"I think that it's exciting that one of my team-mates is to play in Tippeligaen," said Solskjaer to his personal website. "Mads is a very exciting player that will be good to watch in the future.
"I had some words with Mads about Viking and Norwegian football and said it would be good for his career to travel there to get some first team football."
Timm is looking forward to the prospect of playing for his new team and is ready to fire the side up the Tippeligaen.
"It's with great joy I now look forward to play for Viking. I will work as hard as I can to score as many goals as possible in the months I'm at the club," Timm told Rogalands Avis.
"I spoke with Ole Gunnar about the matter and he said Viking would be a nice challenge for me. This is a great opportunity for me to show what I can do in a good European league."
