Domi determined to help Leeds
The Frenchman feels maintaining top flight status would be greater than when he played in the Paris Saint Germain side that lost in the European Cup Winners' Cup final to Barcelona in 1997.
Domi, who is a on a season-long loan deal from PSG, believes the club's recent takeover has helped spur the players on.
"I have achieved quite a lot in my career," he stated. "I played in a European final when I was young, but to keep Leeds in The Premiership would be even better.
"When you win a trophy or play in a final, other teams will come along and do exactly the same the following year.
"However, to keep Leeds alive would give me a special feeling."
Domi refused to sign release papers earlier this season as Leeds attempted to cut their wage bill to try and ease their crippling financial problems.
Now he is delighted he decided to stay in Yorkshire and will do everything to keep them up, even though he may not be at Elland Road next season.
"I want to make sure that there is a Leeds that is healthy for the fans to support next season, even if I am not here any more," he concluded.
