No Eagles landing for Bradford
The 18-year-old has attracted the interest of The Bantams and Walsall in recent weeks after making his first team breakthrough in Sir Alex Ferguson's squad during United's 3-2 Carling Cup win at Leeds United earlier this season.
After the Valley Parade outfit lost the services of midfielders Paul Evans and Paul Reid on Thursday, Bradford boss Bryan Robson quickly went back to his old club to try and bring the promising youngster to the cash-strapped West Yorkshire side.
According to Bradford's official website, Ferguson agreed to a loan deal for the rest of the season for Eagles about 20 minutes before Thursday's 5pm deadline.
However, the Division One strugglers were unable to complete the necessary paperwork in time - with Eagles having been in transit to London at the time.
