Rui Costa rejects Benfica link

The Portuguese international has been strongly linked with a return to Benfica after falling out of favour at Milan.

Rui Costa is currently playing second fiddle to Kaka at the Rossoneri, but he insists he is happy to stay at Milan

"I have not signed anything with Benfica, and have not spoken with them about a contract," said Rui Costa.

"I still have two years left with Milan and, at the moment, my future is with Milan. I don't want to talk about it anymore because this situation is misleading the fans of both Milan and Benfica."

The 32-year-old refused to hide the fact that he would one day like to return to Benfica where he made his name before moving to Italy.

"I would like to return to Benfica one day but I have a contract with Milan at the moment and have no intention of leaving," added Rui Costa.
