Edu to sue Corinthians
Arsenal's Brazilian star Edu will take former club Corinthians to court - with the midfielder disappointed that the club have failed to pay him money from his transfer.
Edu was expecting to pick up 15 percent of the second part of his transfer to his current club.
The midfielder picked up his percentage of the first part of the deal when Arsenal paid around half of the agreed fee in 2000, but has not received his share of the second instalment, after The Gunners decided to keep hold of the player.
"I had to appeal to the courts because if I waited much longer I would lose my rights to the money," explained Edu on Brazilian radio.
Edu has hit top form this season - notably scoring two wonderful goals in the UEFA Champions League victory over Celta Vigo.
