Silkmen get van Blerk clearance
Macclesfield Town have received international clearance to play Australian international Jason van Blerk.
The former Manchester City man joined The Silkmen on transfer deadline day and was waiting for clearance to come through before starting his spell with the Third Division strugglers.
van Blerk is now available for selection for the rest of the season, as Brian Horton's side try and avoid a return to The Conference at the end of this season.
Meanwhile, the club have parted company with defender Steve MacAuley by mutual consent.
