Wycombe sign keeper

Wycombe Wanderers have been given special dispensation to sign Wimbledon's teenage goalkeeper Lee Worgan.

The youngster has been training with The Chairboys and has been brought in by manager Tony Adams to alleviate an injury crisis.

Steve Williams dislocated his finger in Saturday's match at Plymouth and will be sidelined for several weeks.

With Frank Talia and youth team keeper Tom Gott also injured, Wycombe were bereft of a shot-stopper.

Adams gained special dispensation to complete the paperwork for Worgan, who has made four appearances for the club's reserves.

He made his first-team debut for Wycombe in Bank Holiday Monday's 2-1 defeat at home to Tranmere Rovers.

Worgan had made three substitute appearances for Wimbledon this term and was sent off against Rotherham in the second of those outings.
