PSV hit by further injuries
PSV Eindhoven have a major injury crisis on their hands ahead of the second leg of their Uefa Cup quarter final with Newcastle.
Dutch international Kevin Hofland and midfielder Theo Lucius have joined the casualty list after pulling out of training on Monday.
Both players underwent fitness tests on Monday, but they failed to complete the session as Lucius is struggling with a hamstring problem and Hofland with a knee injury.
PSV are already without Arjen Robben, Andre Ooijer and Ernest Faber for the trip to St James' Park.
The latest injuries leave PSV coach Guus Hiddink with a major selection headache for the game on Wednesday with the tie delicately balanced at 1-1.
