Bayern agree Hashemian deal
Bayern Munich have begun their rebuilding plans at the Olympic Stadium by agreeing a deal to sign Vahid Hashemian from Bochum.
The Bavarian giants have been tracking the Iranian star for some time and they have agreed a fee in the region of ‚é¼2 million with Bochum for Hashemian.
Hashemian, nicknamed the 'The Helicopter' because of his ability in the air, will arrive at Bayern on a three-year deal in the summer.
Bayern are looking to reshuffle their squad for next season after a disappointing campaign this term and Hashemian is set to be the first of many new faces at the Olympic Stadium.
Bayern general manager Uli Hoeness believes Hashemian's aerial ability will add something to the side.
"Vahid is extremely strong in the air and none of our strikers, including Roy Makaay, have that quality. He is still hungry for titles," said Hoeness.
