Van Persie agrees terms

Arsenal have agreed terms with Dutch starlet Robin van Persie and will complete his signing on Wednesday.

Feyenoord's technical director Mark Wotte has confirmed that van Persie has put pen-to-paper for the English champions.

Arsenal and Feyenoord are now finalising terms on a deal that is expected to cost The Gunners up to £5 million.

"Arsenal have signed Robin van Persie on a contract for four years," said Wotte.

"The two clubs will finalise the last details today."

Arsenal made a fresh move for van Persie last week, after originally targeting him in January.

Arsene Wenger now seems to have got his man and has bolstered his squad with one of Holland's brightest young talents.
