Surgery for Buskermolen
Michael Buskermolen has gone under the surgeon's knife in a bid to cure his persistent knee problem.
The midfielder has been carrying the complaint for some time, but has opted to have surgery now in a bid to be fit for pre-season training with AZ Alkmaar in July.
Buskermolen has played 30 games for AZ this term and was a key figure in their push for Europe.
With a place in Europe for next term now secured, the 32-year-old has opted to bring forward his operation by a fortnight.
