Huckerby takes player award

Norwich City forward Darren Huckerby has been rewarded for his fine form by picking up the Division One Umbro Isotonic Player of the Season award.

The jet-heeled striker has been instrumental in Norwich's promotion campaign and their First Division championship success.

Huckerby netted 13 goals on his way to helping Norwich win promotion to The Premiership.

The former Newcastle star initially joined The Canaries on loan before making the move permanent in December and he will be vital to the club's bid to establish themselves in The Premiership next year.

Plymouth Argyle defender Graham Coughlan scooped the Division Two award after inspiring The Pilgrims to the title and promotion to Division One.

The giant defender was a rock at the back for Plymouth and also chipped in with a number of vital goals.

The Division Three prize went to Doncaster Rovers' Michael McIndoe for helping them to win the title.

McIndoe enjoyed a successful debut season with Rovers netting 10 goals on the way to helping them gain promotion.
